Woodhill Mini ODE

My first attempt to photograph at a show. Luckily this venue is just down the road (literally). Not the type of photo a rider wants to see... but I thought it was a great action freeze!

I just happened to have my camera in the car - and as I was leaving I saw this rainbow.

New lens

My tutor suggested I get a zoom lens so that the proportions were more accurate. So I got one for myself for my birthday - and tried it out on everyone that would let me.

It's a EF 70-200mm USM. The results already are fantastic... even though I am taking a while to get used to the weight - this photo shoot had heaps of blurry ones.

Blue and Laza

This was my first go at light and dark (at the same time)...quite tricky to get the right setting. You can see Blue's face clearly but Laza's is darker.
